Overview

The Silver Dollar Saloon is the oldest bar in Colorado—a true local landmark with a rich history and one-of-a-kind character. But its online presence didn’t reflect that legacy.

Goal

To modernize and elevate the online presence of Colorado’s oldest bar, the Silver Dollar Saloon, while preserving its historic charm. The new site needed to showcase the restaurant menu, support merchandise sales, and better reflect the saloon’s unique identity.

Challenge

The previous site hadn’t been updated in over five years and was built on a basic GoDaddy platform with limited functionality and no clear brand experience. The domain had to be transferred, and the new build needed to visually translate the bar’s rich history and bold personality—without overwhelming the user experience.

Result

The new website was designed and built on Wix, combining functionality with a flair for the saloon’s legacy. I incorporated custom underlays, dividers, and textured design elements to bring its story to life. The site now includes a fully integrated online shop, a user-friendly restaurant menu, and an aesthetic that captures the heart of a local legend—reviving its digital presence and setting it up for long-term growth.
